Sheriff’s Employee Benefits Association (SEBA) Backs Ochoa Bogh in SD-19
Yucaipa, CA -The Sheriff’s Employee Benefit Association (SEBA), proudly representing over 3,800 San Bernardino County law enforcement employees, announced their endorsement of California State Senator Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh as she seeks reelection in the 19th State Senate District.
SEBA works on behalf of law enforcement employees across San Bernardino County and has been committed to protecting public safety officials in the Inland Empire since 1946. The organization represents over 3,800 public safety officials, including deputies, District Attorney investigators, fire officers, sergeants, and lieutenants.
As the Vice Chair of the State Senate Public Safety Committee, Senator Ochoa Bogh has been a proud and vocal supporter of law enforcement, understanding that the men and women that keep our communities safe need the utmost support from leaders in Sacramento. Senator Ochoa Bogh specifically worked on legislation that expanded protections for public safety employees injured while in service and worked to stop anti-police legislation that would have put police at risk.
“Public safety is my top priority and I will always stand with the men and women that protect our families and keep our communities safe,” stated Senator Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh. “I appreciate the support from the Sheriff’s Employee Benefits Association and I look forward to continuing working hand-in-hand with them during this critical moment with crime on the rise.”
Ochoa Bogh was first elected in 2020 and currently represents nearly 45% of California’s new 19th State Senate district. The new districts encompasses parts of San Bernardino and Riverside counties and includes all or parts of Hemet, Apple Valley, Yucaipa, Beaumont, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, La Quinta, Redlands, Banning, Desert Hot Springs, Loma Linda, Rancho Mirage, Yucca Valley, Highland, Barstow, Twenty-Nine Palms, Grand Terrace, Calimesa, Colton, Indian Wells, and Big Bear Lake.
