Bianco joins San Bernardino Sheriff Shannon Dicus in Backing Ochoa Bogh for State Senate
Yucaipa, CA – Today, the Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh for State Senate campaign announced the endorsement of Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco. The announcement of Bianco’s support comes on the heels of San Bernardino County Sheriff Shannon Dicus’ recent endorsement as key district leaders continue to support Ochoa Bogh for her strong record on public safety issues.
Sheriff Chad Bianco was first elected in 2018 and represents and protects over 2.4 million Riverside County residents. Sheriff Bianco was re-elected in 2022 with over 60% of the vote after building a successful record of balancing the department’s budget while adding hundreds of deputies to protect the county, and standing strong against the early release of violent prisoners.
“We face new challenges because of laws and mandates that are causing an increase in crime. Senator Ochoa Bogh currently serves as the Vice Chair of the State Senate Public Safety, Education, Housing, and Human Services committees. Ochoa Bogh was first elected in 2020 and currently represents nearly 45% of California’s new 19th State Senate district.
