Ochoa Bogh Received Endorsement from the California Correctional Peace Officers Association

The California Correctional Peace Officers Association (CCPOA) has endorsed Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh for California’s 23rd State Senate District. The District covers portions of Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles Counties. Bogh is running to fill the open seat left by Mike Morrell, who is retiring.

“As California residents, taxpayers and essential workers who serve on the front lines of the state’s correctional system, the members of CCPOA have a direct and vested interest in the future of corrections and public safety. We look forward to assisting Rosilicie in her victory and working with her to develop meaningful reforms that will improve the correctional system and make all Californians safer,” said Glen Stailey, the CCPOA President. The leadership of CCPOA are all correctional officers with a deep understanding of the issues surrounding our corrections system. Some of these issues include overcrowding in prisons and an increase of violent inmates, especially in youth facilities. More training and education for these officers is one of their top priorities. The CCPOA exists to help address and overcome these and similar obstacles.

“I see the struggles our officers are facing,” said Ochoa Bogh. “I look forward to our collaboration in an effort to keep them and our communities safe. I am grateful that the CCPOA recognizes my commitment to address a complex issue and their willingness to work with me.”
The CCPOA is another of many endorsements Rosilicie has received. She has many local endorsements including the Sheriff’s Employee Benefits Association, Senator Mike Morrell, Assemblyman Jay Obernolte, and Congressman Paul Cook.

A small business owner, current School Board Member, and former elementary school teacher, known for her charity work, Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh is focused on improving the overall quality of life for local families by helping California’s public schools provide a quality education for our children despite recent challenges, rebuilding our economy, working to end the homelessness epidemic, and reduce the cost of living for families in the Inland Empire.
